About "Proudly Gone"
Hey there my beloved readers,
Thank you for still reading and following my shit here! I hope you all had a peaceful stay at home with your family and friends.
In this article I want to talk about my latest poem "proudly gone". It implies an appeal to all of you and to me as well. Therefore you should know, that I had a serious talk with some people, who doubt that I'm on the right way. Okay: I don't drink, I don't smoke, I'm the only vegetarian in my family, at school and university I reached good results and at the moment I'm living my dream as music editor and chief editor in a radio. Yeah sounds pretty awful and wrong, huh?
In the past months I met several musicians and had some fantastic interviews. This all means a lot to me and I appreciate every day, that I got this great chance. And the best thing is: my friends and parents support me. I'm so thankful, that I got them.
They all support me in everything. My parents say, that they are so proud. To know this makes me happy.
But there are still haters. Okay, you will always meet some haters in your life. But even in your closest circle? In worst case: yes!
That hurts pretty much of course but you should just give a fuck. When you get the chance to live your dream, then you should take it. I don't regret it.
"Proudly Gone" is dedicated to those certain persons, who still don't believe in me but it's also an appeal to me and to you, not to listen.
I think this article fits pretty good to this time - the end of a year.
I wish you all a good start in 2013.
<3

Re-/ Discovered Love
Hey guys!
What's the story, morning glory? - haha.. bad joke! Anyway!
I want to introduce you to some new musicians!! But not only young bands or bands, which haven't become very popular yet!
By coincidence I found also songs/ acts, that I listened a lot in the past! Crazy, huh? :D
I'll begin with the fresh sounds!
1) The Lumineers (Folk)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvCBSSwgtg4
2) Der Rest (deep lyrics and very melancholic but really catchy! I think fronter Phil Taraz is a pretty interesting musician)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhNOc59EvaY
3) The Sensational Skydrunk Heartbeat Orchestra (What an awesome name! They create a mix out of Ska, Punk, Reggae, HipHop...)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yoy2mNhuUVw
And now old and new stuff!
1) OLD: Dario (Pretty cool band from a town nearby my home village. They were a cool band but sadly they don't exist anymore)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9CI6uQaFWM&list=SPDDCD582E211C0DD2&index=9
2) NEW: Haha But! the singer of them (Kenny Estrada) has a solo project. Look here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dx6PWOWE3tk&list=PLE32B5017BA032CAC
I really enjoy the lyrics!
3) OLD: Anti-Flag
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnF-fMD1tSA
Do I have to say something? Great tune! I love this song, it beats me up! By the way: peta2.com nominated them as "most animal-friendly band".
4) OLD: Disillusion
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBPBEpVJYso
Metal, metal, metal - in your face! :D
5) OLD: Nightwish (with Tarja Turunen)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsUBKsNF1HM
Floor Jansen is the 3rd female singer from Holopainen's band Nightwish
Last but not least: A special christmas song made by the guys of Y-Titty:

Workin' Like A Machine
Hey lovebirds!
Same question like always: How are you?
I hope you're all fine. Thank you sooo fuckin' much for reading this stuff here. I've seen, that so much people checked out this page and I dunno why :D.
Well, the only reason for writing a new text here is, that I wanna give you a short update:
I will upload some more "lyrics" and news soon. Actually I'm not working on anything for this blog because I'm just working all the time but I got the best job ever, so it is not the problem to have less freetime.
Apart from that there is planned some other project with my wonderful friend, Jacky Tähtönen. We just need some time to get it started and we hope, that we will be alright.
Tomorrow I'll travel home to my fabolous family and friends to see them again and I look fucking forward to it!
Okay.. here my favourite songs of the week:
Cat Stevens_Cats In The Cradle
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSwL9deXNW8
Fantastic song! You should check out the versions of Johnny Cash and Bon Jovi! Love it!
Johnny Cash_Hurt
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmVAWKfJ4Go&feature=related
Talking of Johnny Cash I remembered his cover of NIN's song called "Hurt". His cover is so much better and full of emotion.
Marylin Manson_The Nobodies
http://www.clipfish.de/musikvideos/video/2977775/marilyn-manson-the-nobodies/
Great. Just great. I'm so addicted to this song. I like Manson's voice.
HIM-Funeral Of Hearts
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnVfg_kDFzU&feature=related
I'm so jealous because Ville Valo creates wonderful lyrics filled with metaphories and an interesting way to express human feelings, escpecially love and hate. On 26th of october HIM will release a best of album and next year they'll publish a new studio album! Can't wait!
The Pretty Reckless_Make Me Wanna Die
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xeirbv_the-pretty-reckless-make-me-wanna-d_music
Damn it! The album version of this song is ...wow! I'm glad, that I found it! you should listen to this! Great video by the way!
That's all folks!

Truth should be told....
Hey cuties!
How are you these days???
I decided to tell you something: I like Hip Hop. Actually not a problem, I know, but in my childhood and days as teenager I...hmm how could I describe it.... I absolutely hated it! I don't mean people listening Hip Hop but this kind of music. "This can't be music!" were my thoughts.
But of course I know, that it IS music no matter what other people say or mean. And I don't care if someone judges me for my taste of music. I love punkrock! There are lots of people saying, that punkrock is a mess and the bands fuck up...well...you can say this about many bands from different music types. So I sayed it in the past about rapper.
I'm not listening like everyday to Hip Hop but sometimes I enjoy it.
In the past I especially hated German Hip Hop like Sido and Bushido. I didn't like their lyrics. Now I have changed my mind. I'm not tolerating every point of view but I think that both of them have changed. I also remember that one of my favourite bands - die ärzte - didn't like Sido in the past. But some years ago I've seen Bela and Sido performing on German television.
Nowadays I'm more open to HipHop.
Therefore I decided to show you my favourite songs of this genre.

Little Miss America
Heeyy my lovebirds!
How are you these days? I hope fine.
Shame on me! I'm such a thief! :P Right, I'm talking about the title referring to Everlast's song "Little Miss America". You should listen to this wonderful song!
look here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6GSTu-Uj54
I wanna draw some pictures again. I'm absolutely not talented and the second problem is, that I'm not patient enough xD. And where the fuck is my cam? I enjoy it to take photos of landscapes and the sky is sooooo beautiful these days. Like dark blue, yellow, dark red..naaah can't explain but it looks so wonderful!
Okay before I go on with babbling about unimportant details I rather introduce you to another person being kind of inspiration for my humble self.
KAT VAN D
I watched her shows years ago.. dunno how old I was. My dad was a great fan of "Miami Ink." and me too. Kat worked in that tattoo shop of Ami James. She was like a punk kid in that shop and had abit more weight than today (what's not a problem! She was also beautiful to that time!). Well.. She is famous for drawing perfect portraits and I mean.. it's on skin and not only on a sheet of paper. How cool is that?
She has a tattoo on her back: "Viva La Vida Loca". Do you recognize something? ;)
In 1982 she was born in Monterrey (Mexico). She speaks fluently Spanish.
Now she's working in her shop "High Voltage Tattoo" in Hollywood. There is another tattoo on her belly: a lipstick writing in red colour "Hollywood". Furthermore she has ... hmmm... I think 5 tattoos with the portrait of Beethoven. Kat is a great fan of him and she plays piano. She got her first tattoo at the age of 14. She was a punk kid and in some interviews she explained, that she got that tattoo from a friend. Her father is a German man (Rene von Drachenberg) and her mother (Sylvia Geleano) was born in Argentina.
I know that Kat had problems with alcohol but when I was younger I didn't see that. For me she was (and is) a tough lady painting stunning works of art. Moreover she has a great taste for clothes (with best regards from the girly side inside me).
Maybe you've heard about that woman. Kat had a relationship with Jesse James (you remember? the husband of Sandra Bullock). But their relationship crashed after a year. From 2008 till 2010 she was in love with Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx. Now she's in a relationship with the Canadian DJ Deadmau5. I must admit: I don't know him. Whatever.
Besides Kat wrote 2 books: "High Voltage Tattoo" and "The Tattoo Chronicles". I ponder to acquire the second one. At the moment it's too expensive.
If you want to see some of her works you should have a look at this website:
http://www.katvond.net/
She is friends with Ville Valo and Bam Margera. Kat even acted for a music video for the song "Killing Loneliness" by HIM.
I remember, that in school we had to choose an outstanding person from America. I know, that I wanted to pick Kat at first but I wasn't allowed. Finally I choosed Oprah Winfrey (I think she's really outstanding for America). Oprah's story is interesting and she's sooo important. She had and still has influence even on legislation. But that's another topic xD.
Okay guys! Enjoy your weekend!
here some music ;)

Lyrically Happy ;)
Hey lovebirds!
Isn't it crazy?: While talking with an English native speaker I feel kinda safer in this conversation than in a chat with a German person in English language (we all know, that this can happen!).
Some examples:
1. At the wedding party of one of my close friends (from America) I talked with her family and I always said something like: "Excuse my bad English!" And they said "Oh no! You're English is really high!" ... well could be they wanted to be politely.
2. I'm often chatting with a cool friend from Finland. As you can see in my blog: I totally fuck up (sorry, guys) with English grammar! But seriously!! Who the fuck is perfect in any language and it's grammar?! So what was my thought?!... ah yeah: my friend says I shouldn't worry.
BUT! When you're chatting with a German dude you'll hear something like "Nope! That's not right!"
-.-* Yeah I know, I'm not perfect, I GOT IT!
Anyway... :D
Today I'll show my favourite songs of the week! BUUUUT before a (hopefully) short story!
I had a absolutely great weekend! I met Jyrki of "The 69 Eyes" and hung around with wonderful girls.
We had a great afternoon on saturday and later a great night in a local goth club. It was great! They played Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, Guns n Roses, Billy Idol and so on. Jyrki played stuff from his new album and so many beautiful men and women danced to this music. I'm not really a Goth chic but I love this club because they are sooo nice there and they play wonderful music! We had a blast!
And now I recommend following songs warmly to you!
Itchy Poopzkid_Lyrically Happy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dYAbMmaXy4
Greeeeaaaaat!!!! Pretty good live song! Love it!!
The Flatliners_Carry The Banner
http://www.youclubvideo.com/video/122764/the-flatliners-carry-the-banner
I do enjoy the sound of this absolutely great Canadian punk band!! Awesome! I love this song and the lyrics are kinda pushing me! Chris Cresswell has a wonderful voice! I love it soooo much!
Ranma 1/2_ Mit Der Sonne
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WE6MuJHTvA
Yeah I must admit that I had in the past the passion to watch anime! And I still love this song! The woman has a nice voice and the text is sooo cute! Can you believe, that "Ranma 1/2" was produced back in the 80's?
Rival Sons_Keep On Swinging
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyKk-cF7dgI
Metalhammer is soooo right! One of the best bands in this autumn! I absolutely agree with that! Sounds abit like Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple! Really nice old school rock!
Negative_I Won't Let Go
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SY_GRfXw1ME
Listened to this song years ago. It's a great song from the Finnish band "Negative". I love Jonne Aaron Liimatainen's (wonderful name) voice and look (at least to that time). Great stuff!
Mumford & Sons_Broken Crown
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5hx9HChDGk
I had the pleasure to listen to their wonderful new album "Babel". They did a great job again! You really should check this out!
That's all, lovebirds! Listen to these songs if you like :) Thanks for reading and surviving my badass English!

Shit Gets Serious!!!
....
....
....
Hmm nope, actually not really but I like this phrase so I used it as appetizer.
What happened?
Nearly nothing. But I've done my last assignment. Now I can finally start to live or in the words of We Are The Ocean: "Go Now And Live!" I fucking will!
In the last months some pretty strange things happened in my life. But it is soo fucking true: in hard times the wheat seperates from the chaff. You see, what real friendship means. I love all of my friends, I know, that I always can count on them. It makes life soo much better .
Well... I have further song suggestions to make in this week.
Let me start with BRODY DALLE (The Distillers)
Her voice feels sooo right, when you're sucked up inside (what a rhyme, ha)
I'm listening to this song alot:
The Distillers_Hall Of Mirrors
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nclOYdxA9cM
Are you angry, sad or anything? Well, Brody will understand you! So bad, that this band doesn't exist anymore. I guess "Spinerette" is called Brody's new project.
The Pretty Reckless_Make Me Wanna Die
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vh2Bai3gAoI
What a beautiful blond goth chic. I adore her look and voice (actually like Brody's).
Silverstein Feat. Lights_The End
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cn9PTzcB3V4
Such a good duet!
Tool_The Pot
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2F_hGwD26g
I'm listening to that song the whole year. It catches up to my mood! The video isn't the real music video but it fits so perfectly to this song.
Paddy Kelly_Pray Pray Pray
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TiHm40VTkI
Paddy Kelly. I think you all know this name because everybody knows this name assumed, that you're born in the early 90s. I can't understand all those prejudices against "The Kelly Family". They made so much different styles of music and had soo much success. I owe them an awesome childhood, spending summers with traveling to concerts in different countries. Paddy has a great voice. In my opinion he should write more rock songs xD ... but this song here's also great.
Thanks for reading, lovebirds!

As Long As I Got Chords...
Hey lovebirds,
Autumn is back! :) Reason enough to introduce you to hmm.. how shall I describe it... hmm...
A GREAT, KICK-ASS, STAGGERING, ROCKING German punkrock band ...
yeah...maybe that works...
The name of this band is Itchy Poopzkid. First of all I wanna constate, that this name is not stupid. Actually it's really brilliant! I mean there are a lot of those "The ..pla pla" and so on. See, on placards are lots of bands named playing on any festival and there is this one name and it's just eye-catching like "uhh.. what an awkward name!" .. and I mean they founded a punkrock band.. so they could give a fuck about their name.
As often the title of this blog here is the title of a certain songtext. Hmm.. my story about this song is, that I actually was bored to listen to that song. Therefore I have to say, that I can't stand listening to slower songs. But damn me! This song has such a beautiful message! Last year I traveled 7 hours by train with my best friend to that "Ten Years Of Tightness"-concert in Southern Germany. Of course we had a blast there.. it was absolutely great! Panzer (bassist, vocals) played his song "As Long As I Got Chords" and after that I began to love that song because this message fits exactly to my thoughts about life and music. Great song.
Itchy Poopzkid was founded nearly 10 years ago (now it's a bit longer) in their hometown Eislingen an der Fils near by Stuttgart. Their first drummer Saikov sadly left the band but Max, an old friend of Sibbi (guitar, vocals), Panzer and Saikov, took the empty seat behind the drumkit. Often it's hard for a new member to get introduced to the long-time fans but I think Max has been accepted since the beginning of his career with Itchy Poopzkid.
The lyrics of them are ironic, serious, funny, critical and sad as well. They actually don't write political songs but "Why Still Bother" was written for an animal welfare-campaign called "Sonar Sucks". This song balances accounts with our blinder-society and asks cynically: "Why still bother, when we all ignore each other?" . I think it fits to the whole modern society and not only to our wrong behaviour toward animals. It has a great metal-punk-sound to my mind but I'm really no expert in describing any music genres.. it's just my opinion about that song.
In one of there songs they even used a supermarket trolley as kinda drumkit. Well..this is somehow a kind of art xD. Maybe this can be called as "real industrial punk". As you can see they sing English lyrics. In interviews they were often asked, why. I ask myself, why somebody asks that question. I mean.. why not? What a question is that? It's like "Heyy Van Gogh.. why do you use exactly those colours?" or something like that. Well.. maybe I can't see the aim of this question. You?
Next to their music I enjoyed to watch their self-produced youtube-videos. Some of you may know Criss Angel aka The Mindfreak. Itchy Poopzkid made a nice parody about him in some of their studio diaries and other stuff.
Their live-shows are amazing.. okay.. often Panzer gets hurt and nearly breaks his legs but you still have the feeling on an Itchy-concert, that making music is still their passion. I think in the last years they've developed to an important rockband in Germany. They have some nice Charts-placements and go touring through foreign countries in Eastern and Western Europe. By the way... their answer on that language-question is, that they write English songs to get access to foreign stages. But yeah.. i don't think, that someone decides to write in a certain language to have more chances anywhere. Hmm maybe I'm wrong. Dunno.
At the end of this little introduction I try to name my favourites
Pretty Me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcbNpYvIs84&feature=related
Why Still Bother
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1KLwyaI5Tw (Mind the sonar noise at the beginning, guys!)
Flavour Of The Night
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt893xANw_4
Pretty cool song!
As Long As I Got Chords (in concert)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8N45Dl-SN8
This was the concert I have been to and where I changed my mind about this song.
Well.. I've got all LP's of them and I love to listen to all of their songs. Normally I rarely do this but with Itchy Poopzkid I don't get bored. Their music is so vital.
Okay, lovebirds I'll end this blog with some nice verses from the last song:
"When the heads are hanging low
I still got my stereo
It plays loud from 9 to 5
And it will keep me alive
Just a simple melody
It means everything to me
And again I got no choice
I breath in and raise my voice"
(Itchy Poopzkid)
That's all, my dears :)

My head is filled with music
Hey guys,
Today is thursday and what does it mean? Exactly: I present you my favourite songs of the week! Actually I should start with my second assignment. Well, I will do this after I shared with you some stunning songs I love to listen these days.
I've seen, that 54 people had a look at one of my first articles. Crazy.. I didn't know, that there is really someone reading this stuff here.
The first song inspired me to choose the title for this article.
The Real McKenzies_My Head Is Filled With Music
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kohl-1_ZkUo
What a fucking great song! I like bagpipes and Folk-Music. The Real McKenzies are a folk-punk band from Vancouver (Canada). The funniest thing about them is, that the name of the singer is McKenzie but that wasn't the reason for chosing this name as bandname. Actually the name's inspired by the cheapest sort of Scottish Whisky.
Talking of bagpipes I want to advice you another song but it's not folk-punk.
Nightwish_I Want My Tears Back
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fV2C9_MAJ0E
Don't ask me why but I hated Nightwish for a long long time, although they're obviously great! Tuomas Holopainen is a great songwriter and keyboarder and Tarja Turunen was a wonderful singer (you should check out their cover of The Phantom Of The Opera). Now Anette (or how her name's written) is the singer and her duet with male singer and bassist Marco Hietala is so great! Listening to that song I just imagine how Michael Flatley dances a riverdance on a Nightwish concert ;). Check it out if you like!
The Black Pacific_Living With Ghosts
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxIarHCGo84
Some of you may have noticed, that former singer Jim Lindberg of the legendary punkband Pennywise left the band a few years ago. Zoli Teglas (Ignite) is now frontman of Pennywise. Lindberg is creating music with another punkband called "The Black Pacific" since 2010. This song her remembers me to another song but I don't know which song! xD
Last but not least
Rancid_ Fall Back Down
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BWBrcF7sWQ
Last year I finally bought an album of them (Let The Dominoes Fall). I'm pondering all the time to introduce you in another blog to this band. The name of this music group is Rancid. Fronter Tim Armstrong was engaged with Brody Dale (awesome woman) and he's related with Green Day singer Billy Joe Armstrong. But enough for now. The song I want to show you is called "Fall Back Down". It's a calm punkrock song. Love it!
That's all folks ;)
Thanks for reading! By the way I want to apologize for my badass English! I try to improve it and therefore I practise here.
