Nobody Knows The Troubles I've Seen
Hey guys :)
I decided to show you a photo of my humble self.
Okay... that's me. Fine. Done. Now some more interesting stuff:
Imagine: Goethe (yeah, great buddy!) would have made some music to his masterpiece "Faust"... and then he went on stages with a cool band, which gave him the beat and he started to rap. This thought came just into my head. Don't ask me why... sometimes it's just weird. But anyway.. you know what comes out, when he would have done it this way? Right: probably the longest rap in music history! Isn't it crazy, that Goethe was able to tell a long story in rhymed verses? I think, "Faust" is one of his best works. Whatever.
I want to introduce you to another quite awesome music group. They prove with their sound, that classic literature isn't only boring and annoying.
The name of this group is "Nobody Knows". They come from Stendal (a German town near by Magdeburg). They compose their own music and sing their interpretation of those old and traditional lyrics from European and transatlantic countries. It's fun to visit concerts of them and to forget the dull routine of everyday life. In the past my favourite song was "Bella Ciao" (and still it is). But it's really hard to say, what their best interpretation is. I like the lyrics from Goethe, Heine and Vogelweide but this band also takes you back to 15th century in France or other eras in history. So Nobody Knows composed a song to Francois Villon's work. He was an important author from France.
So if you're interested in listening to some stuff you should check out this homepage:

What the fuck is up? :)
Hey my dears!
HAVE YOU HEARD, that Chad Kroeger (frontman of Nickelback) is going to marry Avril Lavigne!?
Crazy shit! :D I didn't know, that they're in a relationship but they ARE in a relationship for six months now. Interesting, that nearly nobody knew this.
I've thought, that it would make sense to show you my favorite songs of the week - not every week of course but when I want you to show some bands without talking the whole stories about them this might be the easiest way.
Maybe there are some nice suggestions for you!? ;)
Misfits_ Dig Up Her Bones
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FN87uMNwrYk
This is such a wonderful song! Glenn Danzig has a wonderful voice and a damn cool name as well :D. BUT it's not sung by Glenn but by Michale Graves, who has a damn awesome voice as well. It is a calm song played with an acoustic guitar and sung with a kinda men choir. NICE!
Social Distortion_Story Of My Life
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skOqTXXgNP4&feature=related
Well... I just love the guys and "Reach For The Sky" and "Story Of My Life" were the first songs, I've heard of Social D. I have a crush on this band and this will never end :D.
Negative_Sinä Ja Minä (cover version)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKr4IBNKC-U
This song comes actually from "Dingo" but I love this cover version. I listen to it for years. The meaning of the title is "you and me". It's Finnish language. Very dramatic song I think and Jonne Aaron's voice is amazing.
Have fun with these songs!

passion victim
Hey guys!
I hope you're fine these days.
First of all I need to advice you a quite awesome song performed by one of my favourite bands called "Social Distortion". If you don't know this band but you are totally in love with punk music or country or rockabilly, you should listen to at least one of their songs! One of their songs I'm addicted these days is called "Dear Lover" (maybe you remember my last 10-minutes-poem with the same title). Now you know where my title comes from ;D.
I'm really into that song because I totally love the voice of Mike Ness. It's like when you feel pain anywhere inside your body, then his voice and the whole Social Distortion sound is like a fishing rod grabbing the fish called "pain" and then the band pulls this pain out of you. Okay at this moment I don't have any other description but this is my metaphor for that, what Social Distortion is doing with me xD... sounds weird but anyway! Just give it a shot and hopefully you will understand. Maybe that is the reason for the title of their latest album "Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes". I mean nursery rhymes are songs for children... at least I thought so. Nursery rhymes are meant to calm children... and so the songs calm me.
In the song "Dear Lover" (album: White Light White Heat White Trash, 1996) Ness' voice gets even higher a bit and then it sounds so gently and fragile. Nevertheless it's not right to say, that this song is a fucked up sob stuff. Nope, it isn't! I even can't understand why some people in the past critizised the band for writing lovesongs. I mean why not?
Soo.. this was about my passion for Social Distortion. I'm pondering to get the biography of Mike Ness. I guess he had an weird and interesting life and maybe still has.
Unfortunately I can't find any video on youtube to show you "Dear Lover" but I advice you to listen at least to "Machine Gun Blues". They made a nice video. The setting takes place back in the 1930s or so. Nice cars, nice men and nice women and ugly weapons!

I'm on a train I can't complain
Heyyy guys out there!
Finally I made it through my exams (yay!) and visited my friends and family at home. Now I'm sitting on a train going back to the city, where I'm studying. There I have to write some nice assignments and wait for results. Crazy, I know.
Welcome to web 2.0 where people tell you in their online diaries ( so called „blogs“) what they're actually doing.
But I don't want to bother you with any details about my life...
Talking of blogs and people explaining what they're doing: A friend of mine has a friend who has a friend and his friend pla pla pla... just kidding. Okay again: My best friend is drummer and his friend starts his first band. My best friend... let's call him C. supports his friend as drummer. The funny fact (mind the alliteration!) is, that C's friend bet with another friend, that he could start a band, write his own songs and that he gets organized a gig with a full set in only a year. I guess, that C's friend has no musical experiences... okay makes me laugh at this time. But! I really really think, that they can make it. In his blog the guy asked for a band name and made a game out of it. Of course I made a suggestion and now my suggestion is in the finale! :D I'm pretty sure, that I win hahah..no, not really but I'm kinda curious. The name, which I suggested comes from a funny tattoo story of Ronny Radke (former singer of Escape The Fate and now leader of the rockband Falling In Reverse)
Best thing is, that I'll get a price, when I win this rating. And I hope so! There is this one thing on my to-do-list: „Win a game!“ :) Please, keep fingers crossed for me so I can claim, that once in my life I won a fucking win game! :D
Okay... you made it to these lines here. Congratulations!
The following lines of this text deal with MÖTLEY CRÜE and NIKKI SIXX.
Sixx is a very inspiring person for me. He once wrote in his diary: „Your ego is not your amigo!“ And he's absolutely right! Sixx is the bassist of Mötley Crüe. Together with drummer TOMMY LEE he founded the band back in the early 80's and in only four years they made it to rich and famous rockstars touring nearly all stages in the world. Mötley Crüe consists of four members: Nikki Sixx (bass), Tommy Lee (drums), Vince Neil (vocals) and Mick Mars (guitar).
Maybe you don't know Mötley Crüe but I'm pretty sure that you've heard of the relationship between Tommy Lee and PAMELA ANDERSON years ago. Isn't it sad, that most people today only know Tommy Lee for his relationship with that woman? I mean he's an awesome drummer. He had some crazy ideas in the past for some live gigs. You just need to have a look for Tommy Lee on youtube and I promise, you won't be disappointed.. well depends to what you find there ;D
Okay back to the crew:
One of their biggest problems were drugs. In his book „Heroine Diaries“ Nikki talks about his past and all that stupid things, that Nikki, Tommy, Vince and Mick have done in their darkest times. I should mention that Mick Mars was supposed to be the gentleman in this crazy band. Whatever... their addiction led to some sad tragedies like the death of drummer Nicholas Dingley (HANOI ROCKS) or the fact, that Sixx nearly died after an overdose in 1984.
Songs that I can only advice you to listen:
„Saints Of Los Angeles“ with Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach, vocals), Josh Todd (Buckcherry, vocals) and James Michael (Sixx A.M., vocals)
„Shout At The Devil“
„Hooligan's Holiday“ sung by John Corabi instead of Vince Neil
You probably have noticed that I wrote JOHN CORABI instead of Vince Neil. The reason is, that Vince left the band and tried to make his own thing without the crew. Neither the crew nor he had any success in that time. Same story with Tommy Lee. Both came back to Mötley Crüe and now they're still rocking around the world these times. Isn't it crazy? The crew needs all members: Vince Neil - the blond eccentric frontman with his high heavy metal voice, Mick Mars – the stunning guitar player suffering Bechterev, Nikki Sixx – the craziest man in the crew writing deep lyrics and last but not least: Tommy Lee – the funny drummer kid. This year they were in Germany and were supported by Slash (yeah! Slash.. he's a close friend of Nikki and you should know, that Mötley Crüe helped Guns n Roses to become such a succesfull band! ;D) and even by Black Veil Brides.
Next year will be the premiere of the biographic MOVIE „The Dirt“, which bases on the biography with the same title written by Neil Strauss. I'm really curious and have high expectations, what could be dangerous. Well.. I will see.
Furthermore they have already released a new single and for that reason I expect a new album coming out soon, although I did not notice anywhere, that there is a new album in sight. Maybe Mötley publishes it next year, when the crew's movie is going to enter the cinemas.
Okay, I'm done. That's all! ;D

Just Some Random Stuff
Hey Guys!
If you have read any of my .. well.. maybe I can call it "lyrics", then I wanna say "THANK YOU" for spending some time to read this ;). Maybe I should mention, that you can always share your thoughts with me. So if you wanna say "damn, dude... this is shit!" just say it ;D. For me this texts mean a lot... as you can easily see, they're kind of my "thoughts" - (ha, what a nice hint!) and fictional stuff as well. I'm writing for hmm let's say for a while. I'm not a professional, as you have already noticed for sure. But I think that's not the point ;)
Apart from that I also wanna introduce you to some of my favourite bands and other stuff dealing with music. Therefore I should find out, how this page here is working ;D .. I know it's not that complicated but this is my first blog, dudes! Just give me a chance ;D. I wanna have a nice structure, so that my "lyrics" (I'm not a real poet, so that's the reason for those nice double quotes) have their own place and my second passion, too.
Okay... hmm what else?
I found out, that a pretty good friend of mine gave a hint to my blog. So... what I wanna do now is kinda cross-advertising ;) .. Please, if you wanna see some really amazing pictures and read some interesting stories about my friend, then you should have a look on this wonderful page:
http://jacksmacksuup.blogspot.de/2012/07/lolita-shooting-new-story-gazette.html
Her name is Jacky and in her blog she shares her thoughts with you, talks about music, her friends and what she's doing. Her latest uploaded photos are amazing. You really should have a look at this page. I guess, that she's also thinking about new stuff for her blog.
Okay... another blogger, that I'm kinda addicted to is Bryan Stars. Maybe you've heard of him. He concentrates on music and meets amazing bands like Black Veil Brides or Falling In Reverse and so on. If you know these bands you could think, that Bryan is a metalhead or something like that. Long hair, black clothes, piercings all over his face and .. well you know all those cliches. Forget about that.
He's great to my mind and I love his interviews! I found him by coincidence, when I was searching for some music videos. Have fun:
